Starting to panic here. Only ten more month until my husbands Army retirement

I think this will be a very positive move for you both. Perhaps you can rent until you have found somewhere that suits all your needs. It seems that your husbands health may have been compromised by his service and now he needs to concentrate on getting fit again. Coming from a military family I know all about the moves from base to base. My son-in-law is serving with the RAF and I don't envy my daughter the worry and loneliness when he is deployed to Afghanistan. I wish you and your family the best of health and happiness for a long and contented future.

Very happy for you both. Glad he just about made it to retirement. Hope you both can get him on the path to health.

I don't know if fracking is an issue, but watch out for that potential when you pick a home.People around us are doing it like crazy with dollar signs in their eyes, and on the flip side there is weekly stories about pollution, health damage, wilfdlife destruction, and so on.....yet the fracking still wins out.You don't want to be near that, because if it really does cause issues you can not sell and get to a better place!

Fracking isnt a problem down there i think, do they even do it in Coal country?.I worry more about the Cumberland Gap fault line. We get earthquakes every now and then. Last one was just a 5pointer, nothing major. The area down there has a great elk population as well as plenty of wild turkey.

I have done that too Frosty. I whip my ID out all the time . I got really mad when sone cashier at walmart told me that out wasn't valid ID. Ugh. Hubby has appointments almost every day now. . the OT on his wrist that has very limit range of motion bending up/back worked backwards. Still the same angle bending up but down he now has 87% instead of the normal 80%. He might have to get a hiatal hernia fixed , his gall bladder removed and a carpal tunnel surgery is in the near future too.
Was the cashier mentally disabled. I mean I was a cashier, and even though it took a couple of minuted to figure out where to get the info I needed off a military ID (because I was so used to drivers licenses esp. our states) but a military id is very standard looking no matter what branch of service your talking about.
