That's a bad hen to rooster ratio. But at least it's 4 ladies to choose from.

I have heard of people who only have 2 hens and a rooster and it works out okay for them. Maybe the people who want him are planning on getting more chickens. I really don't know. I'm just happy that I found a home for him.
