Sat outside for 3 hours with my chickens today to make sure the hawk didnt attack them.

I do the same thing. I look up in the sky, listen for bird calls, watch the girls as they look up at different sounds, watch them watch the birds, I am getting good at nature sounds, and birding. My Mother always did tell me to look up....
