RIR's are a deep red brown color. Your chicken looks almost like a New Hampshire Red.

Well, you see I considered she was a New Hampshire once, but she's hatchery stock RIR which can be dark and light.

She's going through a molt now, and the small feathers coming in look white but there not.

My rir is molting too and she looks ugly, she's also not laying and she's my best layer.
