i went to a place near my house, it's a farm. Some rotten kid kicked dirt at a rooster The place also feeds laying hens JUST scratch. Nothing but scratch!! The chicks were getting starter but the older hens weren't getting laying pellets. Poor chickies.

I agree! I feel the same about feral cats.... I'm still working on my hubby to accept that though....
