really? how would something like that happen? i have no idea how you could help that though... have you made a thread in the emergencies/ diseases/ injuries and cures? i bet there's someone out there who could help somehow... good luck for you both!
 
I'd like to hear about that too. I would have no idea but I don't know if it's bad or not? or if you just let the chicken be? Does it come out on it's own? Wow

it can happen by rough handling right before said egg is laid, I believe
