I love hikes too. If you've seen the movie Frozen, then you know what my child hood was like in northern Connecticut. I traveled all over upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Canada as a young adult and photographed extensively. Now I'm in North Carolina and love the mild winters but I miss the snow. Just those magical walks mid to late January when the frozen drops hung on every snow bound tree. The "mild temps" of 45* kept us from freezing too much while we walked but the ground was so cold nothing would really melt fast. If you walked at night on a full moon down our dirt road you would see the glow reflected everywhere! Like God put it there just for us to see it!I am going on a winter hike
Doesn't feel well....Is hoping that I'm not getting sick....
Thanks.Hope you get better!
I have my Downton Abby on DVR, I can't miss it, wow what a crazy show. All my ansestors came from Ireland during the Potato famine and it was strange to see some of those old family stories of folks they knew come to life. of course I don't think any of them lived that well, they would have been farmers who had known the servants. it's just really cool to wonder about.. I was a teacher for a long time and I love even semi historical shows.... Susie Q We're two of a mind!Waiting for Downtown Abbey!

My two EEs are laying every day now and they both lay different colors. Pepper lays dark olive brown eggs and dark green eggs while salt lays light green and light blue eggs.
