Just found out that my rooster who died (Oreo) in January was probably 1/2 bantam. He was just so small. And that makes his children (yes he was a dad) part bantam. He was like 4 or 5 pounds, and he was a Cochin X Barred Rock rooster, strange huh? And Cochin roosters (LF) are typically 8 + pounds.

What breeds?

Not sure.... Ended up with 6 silkies, and 10 bantams, but they were all in a coop together, so who knows what kind of mix I'll get! some with stripes, some more white/yellow.... and then the gray silkies! Very cute!
