I hope everyone on BYC in CA is alright (and their chickens).. There have been a lot of fires due to the heat and wind. Stay safe everyone, nobody leave your chickens to burn! Luckily no fires have hit my area! (yet..

i was eating buttered toast, then i realized it was salted butter and choked because it was so nasty!:sick



Salted butter lasts longer though. Why would you reject poor 'ol salty?:hit

but they use old, rotten salt in salted butter. have you ever bought pre-salted then added salt to your unsalted butter and compared the taste? the unsalted is waaaaay better.

Are butters all natural! No such thing as rotten salt! If they use it to preserve mummies and stuff it can't rot...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe salt rots. I think it may have to do with how much salt you add and how you add it.
