I had three red eared sliders a few years ago, three was too many so I had to give two of them away and I kept the smallest one. Loved her, not sure what happened though, because eventually he just started to hate me, would hiss and carry on whenever I opened the lid to feed him or get him out. So he had to go to. I have always wanted another turtle, well actually I REALLY want a tortoise. Nope, no snakes, those I don't like, have run into enough of them eating my birds. You?

RES are cool! Hissing turtles are a riot aren't they? Maybe she missed her friends? Tortoises are awesome. Very smart and have big personalities. Also cleaner than turtles. The only reptile I have actually owned is a green Anole. I wanted something bigger, because anoles are small, skittish, and hard to handle. He escaped his cage about two weeks ago and was a pain to catch. I'm thinking of getting rid if him honestly (i cant even touch him, and i have tired to tame him) I really didn't want an Anole, but I kinda got stuck with him. I also take care of some diamondback terrapins at my school. I work with the injured rehab turtles. Granted I don't own them, but I take care of them as if they were my pets. When I move to my own home, I'm going to get some reptiles of my own. I have a few kinds of lizards in mind, some more terrapins, a softshelled turtle, a box turtle, and a few snakes. Probably a tarantula too. Lol.

Oh that's neat, I had always heard that tortoises had more personality but I wasn't sure if it was true. Yeah I always told him how cute she looked when she was angry! Yeah we have Anoles running wild down here where I live. Yeah that turtle rehab sounds really awesome. Soft shelled turtles, neato and a tarantula, ha.
