I wander if he'd be able to brood some eggs......he has a brood of Ameraucana mixes and he's really good with them....maybe I'll try. BTW, quick question: What breeds of chickens do you have?

What breed, well most of my chickens are what I lovingly call mutts. We have probably thirty bantams all mixes, not sure of what. We used to have a Phoenix bantam, but him and his son got eaten. And then we have around twenty or so cochins. Assorted colors. That has resulted in the coolest looking bantam and cochin crosses. And then we have six EE's and two Silkie roosters and one silkie hen.Not nearly as impressive as your list. I want to add some endangered breeds, but we need to move our bantams out to the free range pasture first.

Personally, no. But several of the shows I have judged had breeders show up. Not only were the birds GORGEOUS and friendly, the roosters do this roar thing and the hens do this deep, rumbling purr. My chickens purr, but not like that! I'm actully thinking of buying some, the breeder offered me a deal because i offered to trade her some EE's, lol.
