State a fact about yourself!

the pupils could have dilated after you blew its head in half, but don't quote me on it. And no, it's not a rat snake. I play with them (don't judge me, lol) all the time, all ages and sizes. The head shape is wrong, and I have never seen that pattern before. Look for an indentation between the nose and eye, like a little pit. That woud be the determining factor.
Oh yeah, that's true, okay so not a rat snake then, haha, that's funny, you play with them, lol. So yeah I see, it does look as though it had small pit's. So that means a cooperhead. oi. Should I be concerned that there are more around? It looks young to me, but I don't really know, lol!

If it has them, those are heat sensors found in exclusively venomous snakes. All venomous snakes in north America are pit vipers, because they have that pit like heat sensor. Copperheads never get more than three feet long, max. It was pretty young, around a year or a year and a half judging by thickness. Don't worry to much, copperheads are usually solitary, and are not particularly aggressive. They are, however, incredibly dangerous when they are hatchlings, as the venom is highly concentrated. If I were you, be careful if your walking around in flip flops, but it's not something to be seriously concerned about.
