State a fact about yourself!

That's what my school does!

You should totally volunteer! I am one of my school's turtle rehabbers.
Oh Cool! I probably will then, I just need a vehicle so I can get their with out being driven! So are a lot of them releasable? I bet that's the most fun part, letting them go again.

Depends on their issue. I mean, the only you problem you may have is getting them to eat. Some will refuse, so we resort to force-feeding which is VERY difficult with a stubborn turtle. We have had turtles with all types of issues. Two of our more difficult ones who have gotten better are our two female terrapins. One was hit by a car and had a cracked open shell and everything. We sealed it with epoxy, but she can never be released because the epoxy affects her ability to swim. The other was taken from the wild by some kids and they kicked her around, and left her in a tank without water. She now is covered in sores and hates people. :/ She loves to hiss too. She will be released once her wounds heal though. Unless it received a very damaging injury, or you had a captive bred turtle, most can be released.
