Yes! But we normally don't hav huge black snakes here...we have garden snakes. and rattlers....

A huge black snake got in our chicken run once. I screamed, and it was gone a half a second later. LOL.

Yep,the rattlers we have could come up to a pup and kill it in seconds. At least they only live in the North part of our property,in a vacant field.

Ya, I heard that California has them too. But I've seen a lethal scorpion in Mexico once.

I hate Copperheads

This one was by the house where little kids play and was trying to get couple day old pups...and had already been there before and killed baby ducks...there was a reason it got shot.

yeah, I killed one once, but it was eating ALL my eggs. My mom grabbed it one day trying to get the eggs, and it was curled up with a stupid hen ON TOP OF THE FREAKIN SNAKE!!! I got, chopped. It's head off, and took pictures, lol. It was over 6 1/2 feet long, without it's head. Biggest black snake I ever saw, lol.

I've seen timber rattlers, copperheads, cotton mouths, and a couple others. I don't kill them unless they are near the house, unless it's a cotton mouth. Cotton mouth's will attack for no reason, but rattlers and copperheads usually won't.

Rattlers give you a warning before they attack you. unless you accidently step in their home or something.

We have some black snakes but not alot. We have copperheads,etc.
