The one wearing glasses is my grandaughter (who I'd gladly throw my entire family ovr a cliff for), Maddy...the little blond (who I think looks like Zuzu on It's a Wonderful Life) is her BFF.

Here she is helping Grandpa make biscuits.


She was born with Craniosynostosis. You can see part of her scar in this pic above her ear.

At 6 months old she had surgery, then had an allergic reaction to morphine and almost died on us. But she came out of it all smiles...





Here she is with Mama after the swelling had gone down and we were able to hold her again.




And with Mamaw.
