Both of you have good points. Since humans have killed off most top predators the herds can do better but they eat more plants, so there is a point in trying to keep a population down, as long as you aren't over hunting.

Deer ticks also can carry Lyme disease. They are really tiny.

My dad says he goes hunting to keep the population down cyz there not enough food for all them and they'll die cut of that.
