Hhmph... I was sort of directing that towards the adults, but maybe their niceness would have rubbed off on their kids a bit?

You would think that would be true. :/ My family is different than most, so we kind of get the cold shoulder from all of our neighbors. I'm not sure how they are when it comes to niceness because we haven't really talked to them.

Sometimes it might be better to fit in, but most of the time I don't see the point in trying to.
And sometimes words just rot you to the core, but my mom told me that you'll have the last laugh when you see what low life's kids like that grow up to be.

I'm thinking bacon chops, roast pork, a big leg of ham for xmas.... you can't eat your dog so make use of the piggywiggy. Having said that I adore pigs

It's horrible, I was too, I'm 48 now and can still remember school. But you know what... it makes you stronger, we can get over it and we ARE MUCH BETTER than they are, keep thinking that. Because of it I have endeavoured in my life to never be intentionally mean to anyone. I spend my life trying to help. *hugs*

I was bullied and picked on because of my freckled face and my name, Patches. But my grandfather told me to not let them win but to beat them at their own game. He suggested when they picked on me about my name to tell them that they were just jealous that they didn't have a unique name and were merely common sharing their name with many others. And when it was my freckles, I would say " it's not freckles you moron, it's beauty marks! And your just jealous that you don't have any!" So you see, any negative situation can be turned into a positive one, with a little thought applied. Good luck, and don't let the bullies get or bring you down. Remember that a bully is merely a person with weaknesses & insecurities.
