State a fact about yourself!

<---vegetarian, and proud!

Yay! Me too! Best decision I've ever made

We will most definitely be taking miss Sunni with us. Even if we technically can't have chickens. She lives in the house, so I don't think it matters. She is far too special to me to give her up.

Oh you don't understand how happy that makes me. I've always said "you make it work." I wouldn't give up my pets for life of me, and when I had my Maddie-girl I said the same thing, doesn't matter where I move or what anybody says, she's coming with me. I mean she's not exactly in my favourite form right now but her urn is still coming with me!

It will be really hard for me to give up my other hens, but Sunni would be the worst. Half of her 6 month life I spent a half an hour three times every day feeding her with a syringe after her incident. She and I really bonded after all of that, so there is NO way I'll ever give her up. Im really sorry about your sweet Maddie. :hugs I couldn't imagine losing someone so special.

I understand that situation so well.. I'm always a sucker for the sick ones. When I first got Maddie I had to syringe feed her for a couple weeks as well, as she wasn't eating or drinking. She'd have her good days and her bad days and I'd just hold her whenever she wasn't feeling well and do whatever I could to comfort her, patting her in my lap until she fell asleep usually. It really does form a child-like bond. I can't imagine loving another animal as much as I loved her.

Do whatever you can to keep your precious Sunni, no one will understand the bond as much as other house chicken keepers, but do whatever you have to to make them understand :)
