My dad just really likes their names and my older sister is from his first marriage and my sister and I were adopted her name was Kimberly so they (my parents) just decided to permanently shorten it to Kim - thus the same name. At family reunions we started calling them big Kim and little Kim so they would know who exactly we were trying to get the attention of. ^^

Lol my cousins name is Rhiannon and so is mine so at family places people are like "Rhiannon" And we both turn and are like "what?"
