Just finished washing and putting away dishes, and now I'm sitting on the couch with Sunni on my lap. She is obsessively preening her feathers.

Someone called me a hillbilly hipster the other day. At first I was a little taken back not knowing what that would even be, but after thinking about it and talking to a buddy over a few beers I've concluded it's true. By definition a hillbilly is a redneck crossed with a hippie. In other words a very earth friendly redneck. But I also wear an old fedora ( I have for years and it's made of wool so it's very warm in the cold months) which apparently makes me a hipster nowadays.
