State a fact about yourself!

... I am to post this once and I am going to leave.

If you read my other posts I have stated 'unless otherwise' meaning if they are a pet or I like them they live long happy lives, unlike some I don't have the access to a chicken rescue and some of the birds we had to kill we did it for our safety or because they were failing to thrive. I spent days nursing chicks, hand feeding them food and in the end having to put them down. I own horses, and I love them more then just mounts or cart pullers, but if push comes to shove for their well being I'll put them out of there misery.

I guess I am harsh, but at least I know realty, you can't save every animal out there, and some sadly should be removed from the gene pool. I honestly suggest you read my other last few posts, I own goats and see them more then just 'livestock' but if we can't sell the goat we will kill it then just let it be in the pasture not being used or having health problems. We are a small time farm that love and care for our animals and, but as I stated I rather know were our food comes from, and know they have been loved their whole time, and not in feed lots walking through their own manure or not being able to be on fresh green grass and have air.

We each have our own beliefs, and that what's makes up one of a kind... I sugest you please stop trying to make me feel guilty for being proud that I know what I know. Our family is not rich in money but we are rich in the healthy food we try to grow and raise, be it milk from our goats, chicken eggs from out birds or the farm fresh roasted chicken in the oven.

Miss heny of Fary Fart Farm.

If I could give Ovations in GJF, you would have one. This is SO TRUE. I don't raise my own meat, and I couldn't kill my own (I get attached way too easily). But, if my dream permitted me to, I would raise some, and then send them to a farmer to pay for them to be killed. I want to be a musician, so sadly I won't be able to have many animals. But, killing your own animals is bad, factory hens and cows have it much worse. I mean no rudeness at all, but I'm not going to sugar coat things, either: You don't really have the right to say if someone should be vegan or not. It is their choice, not yours.

I love to eat my own chickens. They taste great, fill me up better than commercial meat, feed my family, and had a humane death after a loving life. Yum yum eat up.

compared to those poor broilers, packed in those houses, not allowed to do chicken-things, fed nothing but chicken feed.

I'd kill and eat my own, too, but no one here wants to help. Show me a one-woman chicken-killer-plucker-gutter and I'll try it, 'cause I am alone!

Do you hate wolves, because they eat caribou? Or do you hate lions, because they eat zebras? No, you don't, because that's part of nature, and that's their natural diet. So why can't humans eat meat? It's in our diet, too.
