State a fact about yourself!

I'm very happy. :)

Is that like a really god painting as you profile pic? Cause I don't know because it's cute, but it looks kind of painted also!

@roostersandhens-

I'm only going to post on this topic once and then I'll abandon the subject.
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. It seems to me like you are trying to enforce your opinion on the opposing side.

I have a deep respect for all of the creatures that God put on this earth (no flaming because of this please). I look forward to the days when I'll be able to talk with the woodland critters and play with the marine mammals. But what's the purpose of them if they were meant to suffer and die out? When humans hunt deer it lowers the population, so the other deer thrive. It also brings some tasty meat to the table.
People hunt deer for venison (and sport, but that's another subject), to feed their families. If you were going through a famine and the only thing to eat was meat from deer and your livestock, would you eat them or starve?
We have busy coops, pens, and pastures. I carry water and haul food for, and brush and groom our livestock to the point that my limbs feel like they might fall off. When the timing is right we send those animals (cattle, pigs, sheep) to the slaughterhouse, or butcher them ourselves if they are smaller animals (chickens, ducks, geese, etc.). They go onto our plates and we give thanks. They lived humanely and died knowing that they were loved.
On another note, I live in Northwestern Montana and I need meat, and a lot of it, to make sure I don't freeze my butt off in the winter.

Now, I am not trying to enforce my opinion upon you and I applaud you for helping suffering creatures. Go do your calling, and do it well. I am sure that those chickens you rescue need loving homes and you are the one that can give that to them and then some.

Thanks,
Willow
