Sitting in a rocking chair in my room with Sunni snuggled in a blanket on my lap. She tried eating some food earlier, and she tried to drink. She's still exhausted though. She just woke up from a nice long nap.

About the size of a purebred Jack Russell? That's small. And is Sunni full grown?
He's a bit bigger than a purebred. Sunni is full grown, but she's very small. She weighs 4 lbs 13 oz, which is really small for a Buff Orpington. My other buff weighs 6-8 lbs.
That's great that she's doing better! And your welcome!Sunni slept I'm a tote/basket with a blanket in my bed last night so I could keep an eye on her. It's still dark, so she isn't up and moving yet, so I don't know much of how she's doing. I checked her pupils with a light, and her right one is back to dilating and contracting like normal.e Her left eye (the one she is blind in) is reacting to light a tiny bit, but not nearly like it should. But it's much better than it was. Before both of her pupils were very large and wouldn't react to light, so I had to keep her in a dimly lit room all day.
I want to say thank you to those of you who are either praying for Sunni, or keeping her in your thoughts. It means a lot to me.
it is packing snow here. good for a snow ball fight but not good for down hill skiing
