State a fact about yourself!

I just checked on my chickens; Blue hasn't shown up yet. It's cold and misty outside and there is no sign of her. I doubt she is even on my property anymore. The closest neighbor was notified but they probably wont ever just run into her. At this point I don't think she'll ever come back.

How AWFUL! I bet she's happy in the wild eating fresh bugs and drinking water from a stream though

School was canceled today and already for Tuesday because of the cold. So because of- 15 degreee weather. I. Have 5 kids who are stuck inside and me with them as it is too cold to take the little ones out . Fighting waters, moved smaller animals into garage . } could make one of those bubble bath comercials from the 90's .... oh and I have chicks comming the end of the week. Is it 30 to 40 degrees colder than usual. The chicks are getting brooded. In my basement in a 12 by 12 room I have just for them.

I just let me chickens free range. One strayed off from my roo (they all fallowed him and never went out of his sight). She got stuck inside a big sticker bush and was traumatized, but we got her out. Just as I got the chickens back into the coop, one strayed off into the woods. It's almost dark and I haven't found her yet. :hit

Don't give up my saint bernard ran away last jan. After 4 weeks noone had seen him a 200lb dog we figured he followed the train tracks or fell in the creek. He showed back up very thin the day after my husband bought a new puppy for my kids..I went door to door I live in an old unincorparated town so there is only like 50 properties... called the police and the pound nothing and he doesn't jump anything even a short baby gate. .and I live where there are big packs of coyates. He came home thin but unharmed your hen could also.
