State a fact about yourself!

dairy goats, chickens, rabbits , and getting back into horses.

ugh, the horse people around here seem to be the worst x.x but I got a awesome new trainer that gonna help me get ready to show, and my mind set is I lose in grace and I win in grace

Awesome! A good trainer is indispensable. I hope you do well in the show, and that mindset is the best. Grace and grace. Funny we're into a lot of the same things, except my lifelong love of horses has not been fulfilled (someday).
I don't take rabbits to the fair, but I have two; one is pregnant. I have poultry, love the showmanship. I'm thinking of taking one of my big Buckeyes again to use. Everyone who saw me a few years ago (when I last took a buckeye for showmanship) was like, "Oh my gosh, aren't you going to be tired holding that bird for ten minutes?" Fortunately for me, I practiced a lot before the fair and had no problem.

Anyways, what sort of stock do you show?...I feel like we've had this conversation about goats before though. I raise Nigerians. Got out of showmanship because it annoyed me, but I still take them to the fair for confirmation.

With some 4-H clubs around here its just a bunch of politics in fact let me tell you a story.....in my county all the 4-Hers can work at the fairs petting zoo and poultry barn, this includes collecting eggs, feeding all poultry, watering all poultry, making sure the path ways are clean, getting the petting animals out so people can pet them ETC. they hand out a spirit award at the end of the week to the 4-Her that works the hardest and stuff. well I was their every day working my A** off doing stuff like felling wheel barrows up with shavings and putting them under the pens ( I went back and forth doing this about 40 times) making sure that all the animals were taken care off and stuff and this one kid who was my 4-H leaders son won the trophy , now I don't care about the trophy I knew I worked harder then him and that's what matters, but after that they called out names of 4-Hers they wanted to thank, and they didn't even mention me...I have been helping out at this place for about 4 years now and I just think I deserve some D**N recognition.

Wow... That's bad. Our club's old leadership, they where, um, a bit like their family was first prioraty, others where second. Now I'm the leader's kiddo, and that's so not gonna happen.

Don't feel bad, that's how dictatorships work. It's kinda strange it's happening in 4-H...... but......

Nepotism is probably the better word for it.

I would go to the person who controls it all and suggest a voting system rather then having one person picking. You can just say he/she can't pay enough attention to what every individual is doing at the same time, which changes the outcome, even though the truth is he/she is only paying attention to their kid.
