Is tired of dealing with all of the stress that this winter has brought on. It's becoming too much for me to handle.
That is true, did not take much for evolution to start the process of producing life forms. Evolution when you look at it is rather simple. I do hope that oneThey have sent things off that will, in not that long, help find out if there is in fact life on other planets. The universe is about 15 billion years old and the earth is only about 5 billion years old. Plus, we evolved slow (too many years of just bacteria on this earth; it was a simpler time). Very good chance that somewhere there is life. But for now, until we know of their existence, does it really matter if there is other life? We are still alone.
It's not that hard for life to exist. Basically, you need a very simple life form. This life form needs to be imperfect: to not be able to reproduce exactly the same. Give it some time, and the cycle of evolving starts. Luckily, it got us to the point where we are aware of the universe, and ourselves. Thus, we can find other life forms. And play chess with them.
So, the chances of life existing depends of the chances of there being the right chemical reaction, the right amount of light, the right amount of food/water, and the right temperature. Very possible. Maybe we can interbreed it with our chickens, or maybe I just have absurd thoughts.
Thanks. She just left. I didn't know her before just now.. She is really nice and we decided to hire her. I am trusting that I will come home with all my chickens okay.goodluck! (at first i accidentily said goodlunch...) do u know her already?
I would much rather have summer. Summer is so easy compared to this. My chickens have been picking on each other like crazy due to cabin fever, and I can't get them to stop. I have tried everything. I would take 90 F and humidity over this any day. Chickens at least don't pick each other to death in those conditions....But summer is horrible!?!?!?!

My chickens don't normally mind the winter, but after almost 5 months of being closed up because of it this year, they've had enough.I wasn't watching them all too much, but my chickens, for the most part, seemed to just sit around doing nothing in the winter (no pecking AFAIK). Me? Enjoying the 40 degree house. Which, to me, is a good temp.
