We used to celebrate easter when I was little. No we just do some things on easter, no more egg hunts or stuff like that. Christmas is still a religious holiday to me, we only celebrate it to worship Christ and get together with fam.

My family is only there to do fireworks as well XD

I used to do those when I was little, but we've stopped. I think it just has to do with if there are young kids there who'd enjoy it.

Christmas just doesn't seem religious to many people anymore. Not saying you can't celebrate it as a religious holiday, but rather it would be considered strange to most people (even some who are of the same religion as you) because it's no normal to do so.

I think fireworks are a great addition to any July day! I wonder if I banged on a piece of plywood with a hammer all day long on the 4th of July if the people around me would pass it off as fireworks and not care?

Well, the "purpose" of Christmas will vary from person-to-person. If Christmas was too religious, they probably wouldn't "publicly" celebrate it because it would offend too many people. Plus, many people like it as tradition, and are not affiliated at all with religious practices.

4th of July, though, I think we can all agree it's about blowing stuff up.
