Some people murder bats..

I am strongly against it. I love bats, and would never harm them in any way!

Oh, please report them if you see people doing that. I bet these folks would never dream of doing it to a cat or dog or other 'cute' or 'pretty' animal. I know all bats over here are protected. I should think they're protected over in the States too, so killing them would be illegal and America is losing its bats to white nose syndrome (WNS), so they don't need people helping with their extinction. Fair enough if they want to exlude them from their houses (as they are wild animals and like any can carry disease), but there are ways to do it humanely. Shame as bats are such useful animals, natural pest controllers. Looking to make my garden more attractive to them over here.

I don't think it is illegal in the USA I wish it was.. A lot of people kill them cruelly. Others do things just to keep them away, without harming them. Some shoot bats. But I think those people who hurt/kill them are heartless I would NEVER hurt a bat!!!!

my neighbors HATE my chickens and ducks. They have tried multiple times to get them taken away from us. And two of my bros and dad don't like em either. My other bro and mom all love them like me!!

I swear the government bans everything that is harmless and doesn't do anything that is harmful. Makes me mad.

I understand that, I feel the same way about spiders. I think it's okay to dislike (or outright hate an animal), to think an animal is ugly (which doesn't automatically mean you hate that animal - I love birds, but I think most baby birds, save for baby poultry, are ugly), to have a fave animal etc...it's when you act like your fave animal is flawless or you hated animal deserves to die (just because you hate it or think it's ugly) that it becomes a problem.

Also, if Disney made a bat movie, I'd squeal like a little girl on the inside. On the other hand, I'd expect a lot of people would suddenly want bats as pets. I *think* Disney is making a documentary on bats for their Disney Nature thing...
