we feed our eggshells to our chickens after eating the eggsYes, i do. I put eggshells in my garden.
Except it's not cruelty free, sorry to say. Animal still died for your food.I am a vegan. Which means I have a 100% compassionate cruelty free diet. I don't eat meat, dairy or eggs.
I do some. I like to put them in the garden to help my plants then give some of the food from my plants to the chickens. They love strawberries.we feed our eggshells to our chickens after eating the eggs
I repeat, some people can die if they don't get meat in their diet. Eating meat is not unhealthy. Not everyone does thrive on a plant-based diet. And it's a myth that that being veggie means you live longer:People can die from meat. Meat is unhealthy, and so our eggs and dairy. See here: http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.co...at-is-bad-for-you/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0 or here: http://www.peta.org/issues/animals-used-for-food/heart-disease/ While humans thrive on plant-based vegan diets! People who eat vegan live longer, feel better, and are all together healthier!
@DuckRaiser has decided to become a vegetarian, because she has chosen compassion for animals. No, she isn't a vegan, but she is helping animals! A vegetarian diet is awesome! I am very happy with DuckRaiser's choice.
But I am a vegan, because I in no way can participate in the cruelty of animals.
hmmm I've never tried putting it in plants. We have pine shavings in our coop, and we just put the bedding and poo on the plants. We had to fence of everything so it could grow, the chickens would always get into itI do some. I like to put them in the garden to help my plants then give some of the food from my plants to the chickens. They love strawberries.
Could we just drop this? This is completely peoples opinions. The "meat is better" and "veggies are better" keeps changing.I repeat, some people can die if they don't get meat in their diet. Eating meat is not unhealthy. Not everyone does thrive on a plant-based diet. And it's a myth that that being veggie means you live longer:

Can't find the link to the article that debunked the 'vegans live longer' myth. If I find it, I'll edit this post. (If mods don't like this, they can remove the posts.)
Yes, i had that problem too. Eggshells have a good source of calcium for plants.hmmm I've never tried putting it in plants. We have pine shavings in our coop, and we just put the bedding and poo on the plants.
