a week and a half ago, I had a cochin hen due to hatch a mix of pheasants and chickens, but only the two chickens hatched. Last Thursday I had a silkie due to hatch some pheasants but nothing happened. I decided to take her off the nest last night after waiting a couple days. I went to lift her up and there was a head. SHe had four chicks under her out of the 11 eggs(I think) This morning she was up to 9. so somehow my math was way off or something else. :/ I also had a Lady Amherst hen hatch one chick recently that I will probably add to the silkie.
