I have two very stubborn silkie hens that believe the only thing possible for them to do is brood on eggs (or nothing at all in a nest box). They hatched and raised two chicks together and a week after the chicks were on their own, they went broody AGAIN. I tried to break them, but had to put them back with the flock early... They were back at it when we got back from vacation :/. Now they're back in the "chicken" hutch to break their brood

I had a similar experience, which is why I gave away my Silkie XD
