State a fact about yourself!

dogs are not stupid! just becuase a dog might eat dog poop does Not mean they are stupid! As for me I love dogs! I have 2 myself, both German Shepherds! very smart! but at times stupid lol!
Yeah, I know. The main reason I don't like dogs is that they chase my chickens. The other reason is that it just drives me crazy when someone gets a lab as a "guard dog." I have met only two dogs who were really good guard dogs (aussie and a heeler), and I have no doubt that they'd attack me if their people weren't home. Dogs were domesticated to do one of four things: hunt, guard, herd, and pull. Only... three or four breeds of dogs were actualy bred to be lap dogs, and that's all they do! I get it when people have a dog as a pet, but in my personal opinion dogs need to earn their keep. Especially when my friends try to convince me that "my bird dog won't chase your chickens!" Yeah, right, only if it has perfect recall, and if it's off on the hunt, is it gonna come back when you call it?!? I don't think so!

Again, excuse my rant. Here's a little backround info:

I was never a dog person, but when me and sis lost our two favorite chickens to the neighbors dogs, I hated (hated) dogs for the longest time. Rambo (who has since been forgiven) caught fugetive and broke her neck. She died in my sister's arms, and we both watched her breath her last breath. Palecloud didn't even loose a feather, but he just got so freakin' scared that he just fell over and died. No injuries at all, but he was in Kade's mouth, so I blamed him. I am literally shaking right now just thinking about it, and not cuz it scares me either.

Thanks. Now that we have two dogs, I dont' not like them quite as much. Aspen's just a rebellious little kid though. She only comes when she's done doing whatever she's not supposed to be doing

"Little dog" is better, but she doesn't understand it that when I say "GIT" it doesn't mean to lay down and roll over!
