Does anyone use a stationary coop with electric netting vs a tractor for pastured chickens? Thinking about going this way vs moving around the yard all the time, but my primary concern would be hawks/owls/eagles.

Sort of, but for a dual purpose flock, not Cornish X or Rangers. My coop is stationary, the gate to the netting is also fixed. What questions do you have?

My dual purpose chicks can go through the netting until they are about 7 weeks old, not sure what age that would be for CX or Rangers. The netting has stopped all ground based predators, including digging and climbing. There are issues with it grounding out so some maintenance is required. Where you are located snow is not an issue.

Tell us about about what you are considering, there is enough experience on here that someone should be able to answer some questions.
