staying with friend

i am getting chickens the 24th and keeping them at a friends house since i live in a town/city until we can afford to move i wont be able to goto see them every day how will they react if in 1-2 years we move and take them

They probably will be fine. Most times when chickens are moved, the stress of the move causes them to temporarily stop laying until they are settled into the new place and feel comfortable.

Wow, now that's a good friend. You'll have to leave some of the chicks for her, I'm sure she'll become very attached to them also.
