Looks great so far! I can't wait to start building mine this week~ It will be a lot of work for a lonesome girl but if I get stuck I'll just call my big brother! Haha Can't wait to see the finished pics

That looks really great. The only concern I see is the chickenwire around the top of the coop area. I think I would have put hardware cloth around that b/c racoons can tear through that chicke wire. Just my thought. Otherwise that is a fantastic looking coop.

That might work for a little while, but a determined coon will soon figure it out. I saw places in my run where they have tried to pry it off. I have hardware cloth all around my coop. My run has chicken wire. But my chickens are only there in the day.

Awesome job!

The chicken wire is the only thing I dont like. I would add welded wire or hardware cloth to keep dogs or raccoons from ripping right through it.

Bahaha~ They will be on standby I'm so head strong~ it just so natural for a girl to be unruley! I need to do some bargain shopping I want to find the windows and vents first before I complete the design.

I started out all macho too...
by the end of my second day,
I was whinning for help like a nine year old nerd who had suffered a bully's wedgy.

This is some HARD labor... it is unforgiving and brutal slow....
Today I ache, all over, even my feet ache... I almost called in, it is so bad...

you will see... buy a lot of beer and frozen pizza to bribe your friends with...
or suffer the wrath of the coop...alone!
