Stepped on egg (#10 - aarrggg!!)

Cleaning the coop and saw #10 egg broken - by me!!

I'm so upset. We have 16 pullets and this is egg #10, laid on the floor of the coop.

I've done that. Hearing that awful crunch.

During the winter I have a bad habit of putting the eggs in the pockets of my down vest - now that's a mess when I forget and lean over......
