STEVE! I have a humidity question

Marytoast I am not an expert but 75% sounds fine for lockdown. The drowning would only occur if the egg has not lost enough water during the first 25 days of incubation.

We have been hatching them at 70% for the last three days with great success

We do about 60 to 65%. To be honest I don't even take a reading anymore. In a Sportsman at day 25 I put in one sponge in the water tray. If I open the door to take out poults I mist the inside with a spray bottle. Longranger is correct on the drowning. Think of the humidity at the end as lubrication, if it's to dry or drops to much they end up shrink wrapped.
