Steven was sworn into the Army today. Pic of swearing in

My son, whom you know I brag about all the time, was sworn into the Army today. He will do basic training this summer at Ft. Jackson SC, after his Jr. year, he leaves the 9th of June. He'll come back, graduate and then go to AIT, not sure where yet, go straight into college and ROTC, he'll be in the Reserves the whole time, and when he graduates college he goes into OCS for his commission. I'm proud of him, and I'm also afraid for him. I did the same thing almost, it was 28 years ago and seems like yesterday.
Please keep him in your prayers, he's young, but this has been his entire life's dream and it's finally happening for him.

Thank you, I'm happy for him. I forgot to mention I think that for the next 5 years he's also non-deployable while in college and ROTC. He's got quite a bonus and all in the future, I just hope it all works out the way it's supposed to!
