That looks really really nice Twigg. I have actually been contemplating building an incubator that will will work but also look nice so i can have it in the open. I was thinking oak for the cabnet part, lining it with thin styraphome and then topping that with the hard lining that looks like tile for easy cleaning. I would have to pick your brains on the electricle stuff, would it be easy to wire several of the turners together?

*smiles* it will stew in my head untill i get to it. probably change 100 times.

Yes, it would be easy to wire turners together. Really though, there is no need. Just take the individual leads out the back and plug them into a power strip.

They are low power motors, and that way you can remove them individually.

Incubator electrics are pretty simple. You basically have a temperature controller of your choice that the heater plugs or wires into, and an egg turner. Forced air is provided by a 12V fan which is wired separately

Keep the 120V side safe by insulating everything, the 12V matters less, wire nuts work fine.

Keep it neat and tidy.

The Turner from Attwoods (ebay too)
The heater rope online ($20 incl shipping)
The Temp. Controller I had
The fan from an old PC case

I have a decent woodshop, so making the case was the easy bit. I experimented with the fan and different heaters. The rope works great
