Hi I have read a lot of the posts regarding pasty butt and I have tried treating for coccxidois I have mixed oat meal and bird sand in with chick crumbs even probiotic yogurt.
My pekin is 6 weeks old and I have had him her 2 weeks now. At first he had a slow crop I sorted this with apv which doesn't seem to be a problem now. But he she seems to still have runny smelly poop and it seems to clog around his vent he also seems to tweet constantly and his vent puckers as if he is trying to poop. I wash him every day to keep him clean I don't know what else to do for him, he is eating well and drinking plenty ( still with the coxoid got 3 more days to go). He is a lot smaller than the other 2 Pekins he came with. I call him he but not sure.
Thanks in advance.

It's possible that it just may be that particular chick that has a problem. Sometimes, we can feed too many things trying to help (ACV, yogurt) to young chicks whose systems can't handle those things. A simple probiotic like Probios Dispersible Powder every other day in the water along with plain chick feed may help. Here is a similar thread about diarrhea in an older chicken, but many of the posters have experience that may help you: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/866483/what-antibiotic-should-i-use-for-chronic-diarrhea

I had him on plain food and filtered clean water up until a week ago this is why I tried the other things. I will withdraw the coxoid and just give the crumbs and fresh water. When should I start giving them grit.

They can start having chick grit when they are eating things other than just chick feed by 2-3 weeks, or when they are outside on the ground eating grass and bugs. Chick grit is very small, then about 11-12 weeks they can have the regular grit.

I will look for an equivalent in the uk in the morning. My chicks are 6 weeks old now is there anything else I can feed them or just keep them on the crumbs?

Chick crumbles should always make up 90 % of their diet. Chopped kale, bits of scrambled egg, sunflower seeds, and a small amount of scratch are good treats.
