Hey there,
I'm a total newbie at this, I picked up 4 chicks on Saturday, they were perky and fine. My RIR started going off on Sunday...just odd..not as energetic as the others still eating and drinking a little...not like the others. Monday: I'm giving her save a chick with an eye dropper, making her mush of chick feed, save a chick and a little honey..she takes like 4 bites, perks up..then nothing. Sticky butt showed up on Sunday night. She's continued with the sticky butt...thanks so much for all the good threads on this one. Last night I doused her good with more of the save a chick, pointed her towards food and she wasn't having it. This morning she's breathing heavy, not cheeping as much, I cleaned her sticky butt, doused her again with save a chick... tucked her into the feather duster under the brooder light. (She seems to like it there) Any other ideas? I'm not thinking she's going to make it. Her little poops are just sticky and greenish white. Please offer suggestions!!
Thanks so much.
