Hi everyone,
I have a chick who is making a wheeze/squeak when breathing. It's been about two days of this. She's about 4 weeks old, healthy weight. No runny eyes or nose, no liquids coming from her beak, she is eating and drinking and running around. She's open mouth breathing, but it's very hot (35°C -- brooder is in the shade and they all have access to fresh cool water). I have 13 other chicks who are not exhibiting any symptoms.
I checked the list of common diseases in the sticky thread and nothing quite matches. I'm wondering if she has something stuck in her throat/esophagus? I opened her mouth and couldn't see anything. Any opinions are appreciated! Short video attached.
