sticky feathers?

okay, so for the last couple weeks ive been noticing that buffy's poo mattes down onto her feathers below her butt. ive tried cleaning it off, but then its back the next day. it was looking pretty nasty, so i just finished cutting the poo off, and taking some of the down with it.

does anyone know whats causing it?

Sometimes is comes with having a fluffy bum...You could try mixing a little bit of rice in with the food to help stiffen up the ploop.

A friend of mine has silkies and she vaseline's their bottoms. She said it helps alot!
