I am hatching eggs in still air incubator. The wire digital thermometer, that came with the incubator, on top of the eggs reads one temp. I put two mercury regular thermometers in the incubator, laid them on top of egg turner and they read a lower temperature. Which temperature should I go by?

Thanks!!

I would take a average between the three of them. This would be a good starting point. If the eggs hatch early then you know they are reading low.if they hatch late then the thermometers are reading high. You can also test the regular thermometer by placing it in your mouth.
