I have had no issues with the incubator so far, it's a still air and has a turner. I purchased a separate thermometer/hydro. They've run no more than 101.3, I just candled and removed the turner as TODAY is lock down. The issue is it's been about 3hrs and the temp is only reading 98.5 while laying on the little screen. Should I be concerned, do I need to do anything? The humidity is 50-52%

**Edit I slide back on top of the eggs the original old fashioned thermometer that is on the little card that comes with them and the temp is 100-101.

I am not sure about the temp of still air incubators, but the humity should be closer to 70% for lock down. My incubator (has a fan built in) always runs at 99.5 and I have had great luck. Since you are getting two different readings, maybe actual temp is somewhere between the two thermometers.

Well the humidity is up some now. But the old fashioned thermometer is saying 101ish and the one sitting on the plastic mat is at 98.5. So my guess is that should be a pretty acceptable range. I would like to bring the old fashioned down to 100 though. Humidity is running 60-65%

My birthday is coming up and a Nurture Right 360 is the ONLY thing well almost only thing on my list. I also want some Isbars or Silverudd Blues. lol

There is no need to bump humidity up until you see an external pip.
I use a still air styrofoam incubator. I have excellent hatches with only bumping the humidity up to 40-45 for hatch day.
70 is a bit much.
I had no idea 40-45 was ok. I usually keep mine at 50% day 1-18 and then bump it to 70% the last 3 days.

So we're back to 57% now humidity so I'm going to leave it at that. The old fashioned thermometer on top of the eggs is reading 100ish not quite at the 101 mark and the lower thermometer is reading 98.4. Should I do any heat adjustments or does everything sound good?
