That depends on the hen. My hens formed a gang that stick together. If a drake tries to get it on and they dont want to they stand their ground. I do have a drake that is constantly fighting with a male brown duck. No lie....I had to soak him for bumblefoot and he would come up to him and they would fight with their beaks until one had the other by the throat. The pekin is bigger than the brown duck and sometimes the chaser becomes the chasee. Do you think I have a gay brown duck? Also when sex is not wanted the goose will break it up. Everyone listens to the two geese...including the dogs...from a distance. Geese should never be killed....they make the best guarddogs and they bond for life.
