Right now I have a "thing" for geese...is there ANY cure to this madness???

I'm getting geese too!! [and yes, there is a cure. Just take two of these (chicks, ducklings, goslings) and call me in the morning.

Me and a few friends are ordering from metzer farms this spring. That way, we can get what we want without spending hundreds of dollars on the minimum order! Plus they sell sexed goslings, so that helps too! My luck, if I were buying straight run, I'd probably get all males!

I'm getting american buffs, I have heard they are pretty docile. Also sebastopols (if anyone can afford those!) and pilgrims are supposed to be gentle as well.

Everything I've read about Pilgrims sounds very, very good!. Now, if I can find just one pair . . . . that won't cost me toooo many $'s.

I just put up a post, about finding Duck layer feed, I am thinking that this cannot be the only company that makes Duck Layer but it is the company I buy from so it works out. It is organic so it is more pricey (I know a lot of people think I am nuts about this organic thing but I really don't care, my money my business how I spend it) I am thinking though that others make it as well its just harder to find.

I am going to be hatching geese. How far away from me are you?

I'm afraid I would be too far. I can't remember how long it takes to drive to DC. We go to Williamsburg each year...how far are you from there?
