Still ISO Lavender Marans

If you search on eBay for lavender marans eggs, there are a couple that come up, granted they are very expensive!! And in high demand because lots of people are bidding on them.

You may have already found some by know but I just ordered Lavender Maran hatching eggs from Seeking Eden Permaculture. You can find her on FB. They shipped fast and she did an excellent job packaging them.

She was one I was looking at! Unfortunately they didn’t offer eggs until after I ordered chicks. I’ll be getting some from Mt. Healthy. They’ve been such a great hatchery in the past. I’ll likely continue to follow Seeking Eden for additions next spring or so. Thank you!

I think that’s the same breeder I’ll probably check them back out next season. I’ll be getting some chicks in April though.

And he doesn’t have any copper leakage? He’s gorgeous! I found some chicks and they’re almost mature now, but the roosters’ feather quality is a little shredded. I may be interested in hatching some of yours in the spring! I love my Lavender marans and my roosters are the sweetest boys, but I’m afraid of the shredding getting worse if I don’t introduce different stock or a another black hen.
