We moved our chicks outside about 3 weeks ago with excess outside and a coop with heat lamp mostly during the night. They are now 7weeks old and it's still getting down to low 50s and high 40s (life in the mountains!) Not sure if saying the breeds will mater but we have Cochins, polish, and easter eggers (2 of each)

Thanks!
God Bless

They should huddle at night for warmth. Chicks come to act like the heat lamp is their mom, so I always wean mine slowly off it, but just not turning it on is okay too. They are old enough.
