I read to give the chicks raw liver is that okay
my girls are losing/picking out feather in front of tail I don't know how to tell what is going on first thought moulting but really don't think so, then thought lice/mites treated with seving not they seem to still not being getting better, hence the question aoubt sevin. pleae help i am new at this and very sad right now I tried to do everything right and now this pleae help..thks C

do you have a roo? mine loose feathers in front of their tails and down their sides because of my roos.

Sounds like they could be overcrowded or bored. Or as the other person suggested, if you have a roo, he will leave this "worn" section on your hen's backs just in front of the tail area.

Stress can also cause pecking. Can you give us some more details so we can help? How many birds, age of birds, coop size, what do they eat? Does their water freeze daily? If so, how often is it replaced? Do they get outside to free range?

It does not sound like a bug problem from what you're describing. I wouldn't recommend using seven again until we have more info.
